I don't really know what caused this sudden yen for doing better portraits of some of the characters I've already got pictures of, but thus far I've been really happy with the results of the first two, and so this would be the third. I love the Killer Elves, for reasons beyond the fact they break all the stereotypical elf molds, but I always felt when I tried to create them in Poser, I always was 'settling'. This is the first time that I really think my original idea for Keylyn really has begun to make its way into her hair and attire. Keylyn always struck me as more pragmatic, so she would be the type to bind her hair to lessen the chances an enemy would use it to grasp onto. I have a lot of work to do to her, unfortunately. The base mats for the Forest Spirit set are a little on the chic fabric side, and most of the 3rd party textures have too much of a Medieval European or Celtic feel to them for the sort of Native American feel I like to give her, so I'll be retexturing that mahself. So it's not like I consider this model completely done, but I like the direction I'm going in this picture. Hope y'all do, too! Poser 5, Vue 5, Photoshop CS. Enjoy! |

What I like here is the slight smile on her lips. My take on Keylyn has always been that she found the actions of us humans as somewhat amusing. That smile captures that perfectly.
