Since I did one of the Killer Elves, it totally behooved me to eventually do the other. This picture came to mind while I was at work Thursday, and steadfastly caused my computer nothing but problems for the entirety of the weekend while I tried to make it as near the picture in my head as I could. This one has some mucking about with light sources, alpha maps and camera focal settings that I've never worked with before, and I rather like the results! This wonder of quiet savagery would be Echo, whose last name is unpronounceable by stupid Humanae but who goes by Callamyre to them because sometimes stupid Humanae actually have the gold and the means to hire on one of her kind for a contract... simply because someone needs killed. To say she's an assassin really doesn't completely do it justice. Anyway, and you thought Killer Elves was a friendly euphemism. Silly you.  At any rate, she's scaling the wall of a castle to fulfill a contract killing. That may be hard to make out here... the picture is a little on the dark side to bring her out.Models by Daz3D, Danie/Marforno, Xurge 3D, Silverelf, and myself. Kidding. Actually, one of the things I really like about this picture is that when you first look at it, a lot of things may not be readily apparent. And natch, that either causes you to A) hit your back button in disgust and curse me or B) take a couple extra seconds to puzzle it out and then go "OHHHhhhh... that's what he did!"
Generally, I'm hoping for about 60% B). That'd make me a happy camper.
Thank you much for the praise, and I'm really glad you like it... part of me wishes I hadn't made it so dark, but it does work nicely as my desktop at work, so I can't complain.

I'm really glad you like the look here! This is sort of indicative of something I'd like to try a little more with my work. More DOF stuff, less 'straight-on' camera angles, more color in my lighting. Thanks for the praise!
Oh, and how's the sword held on?

(Actually, I really don't even remember if they came with scabbards or if I ditched the scabbards because they did something weird with the clothing model I chose for Echo. I'll look into that.

Sooner or later the Echo/Cav romance picture will come out. I just have to figure out a way to throw together a small mountain of dead bodies when Poser chokes up the moment my fourth model gets placed.

But... but.... why would I do up an Echo shot just for cleavage when I already have Keylyn and Rox, both of whom have much more accessible and likely more petrifiable cleavage?
I think I agree with you. Keylyn is much like Rox. Not that she wears her emotions on her sleeve, but generally, when she's happy, or angry, or PO'd, you KNOW it. Echo is just cold and aloof all the time. Makes it that much more fun because she seethes beneath the surface.
