...or at least in extended hiatus. The model, not me. This would be the pic I promised in my journal here - [link] . I wanted to try something a little different with this 'last' pic of Argo to give it a "washed," "unfinished," and "rough sketched" feel to it (Hint: you can see that a little more noticeably at full size than you can here).

Anyway, it gives off a nice semi-nostalgic-tribute sort of vibe that brings a nice close to this little chapter of his evolution. I liked the end result, anyway. And what else it does for me is gives me a chance to focus more fully on some of my other genre work for the time being. I have other stories beyond Argo's that haven't been spun just yet. :D

Poser 7 all the way through the render stage, with Postwork and compositing in Photoshop CS. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em, folks.

very well done, Argo! I really like that purposeful-unfinished look that the corner has. A very serene setting to go with the theme, too.

You're just awesomely talented and have a wonderful imagination. (It's an awesome bonus that that imagination leads you to do inanimate transformations often, too. ;) )

It looks fabulous,especially in representing the "sketchy - unfinished" feel. I musty admit, the effect has come out as the closest thing to "perfect", that doesn't include actually being able to draw 3D with a pencil on a sheet of paper.

Combining sketch render and normal passes really kicks MAJOR ass. Just keep an eye out for inspiration. It might get you anywhere.
